"The Power of Measurement and Prediction: Lessons Learned from Project Management"
Published in January 2017 on Amazon and Kindle.
The Power of Measurement and Prediction: Lessons Learned from Project Management, by Kari S. Sanders

Whether you are an entry-level project manager trying to improve your skill set to earn a promotion or a midlevel manager looking to tweak your current process with new approaches, The Power of Prediction and Measurement: Lessons Learned from Project Management is a valuable resource to help you reach your career goals.

The topics covered encompass common problems that can plague any project if they are not considered from the beginning. These include, but are not limited to

  • lack of communication with management,
  • unclear roles and responsibilities ,
  • poor time estimates,
  • missing milestones,
  • undefined project scope, and
  • inadequate planning for risks.

In addition to actionable information about preventing these issues, there are tips for overcoming them to get your project back on track after a derailment. The book also includes several checklists and templates to ease the project-planning process. These easily implementable tools simplify the creation of an excellent project framework, using Word and PowerPoint, for a cost-effective solution to your management needs.

Children's Books

The story of the fuzzies starts in 1987, and they have been beloved by friends and family since - making appearances in cards, sticky notes, white boards, and well, everywhere. The first unofficial book of fuzzies was created for my college graduation in 1997. A few hard copies were created. I scanned the original and posted it on my personal site.

More books are planned! I am currently working on "Fuzzy Cat and the Noisy Neighbor" as well as a series of "Detective Fuzzy" stories.
